My name is JP, I’m a motion designer based in Cologne.

I create motion design, video edits, visual concepts, character design and 2D animation for brands, agencies and digital platforms. With more than 25 years of experience in the creative industry, I combine storytelling, design, rhythm, movement and a strong eye for detail. My work ranges from animated typography, character-driven animation and social media assets to brand films, commercials and cinematic moving images.

Over the years, I have worked on projects for clients such as WDR, Weber Grill, Universal Music, Skate aid and BMW, developing ideas from concept and shooting to final delivery. Alongside my work as a senior motion designer, I also bring a deep musical background into my creative process — timing, energy and emotion are always part of the way I think, animate and design.
